Des Moines Register Endorses Hillary!
Excerpt from the endorsement:
"The job requires a president who not only understands the changes needed to move the country forward but also possesses the discipline and skill to navigate the reality of the resistant Washington power structure to get things done."
"That candidate is New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton."
"From working for children's rights as a young lawyer, to meeting with leaders around the world as first lady, to emerging as an effective legislator in her service as a senator, every stage of her life has prepared her for the presidency."
" In the Senate, she has earned a reputation as a workhorse who does not seek the limelight. She honed knowledge of defense on the Senate Armed Services Committee. She has proactively served rural and urban New York and worked in the national interest, strengthening the Children's Health Insurance Program."
"Clinton is tough. Tested by rough politics and personal trials, she's demonstrated strength, resolve and resilience."
"The times demand results. We believe as president she'll do what she's always done in her life: Throw herself into the job and work hard. We believe Hillary Rodham Clinton can do great things for our country."

Keep telling us why you are going to Caucus!
One reason only:__ Our country needs our next president, to have the very best qualifications possible. We Democrats have a good list of candidates to choose from, but Hillary is the best. __She's level headed, smart, strong, and fair. __She will have the best chance of cleaning up the mess, the Bush administration will leave us. __If she stands her ground, and ignores the flack, from those that feel character assassination and the spreading of rumors and lies, are the best way of showing good citizenship, she will do fine.__In addition, her past experience with world wide affairs, will be a real plus when dealing with our countries foreign affairs business.

Continue telling us why you are going to Caucus!
"I will caucus this year for the first time. I am fifty one years old and have voted always since I turned eighteen. It is clear to me now that if I caucus I have more input on who will serve me and my interests. I am so disappointed in the current state of my country. It's time for all Americans to stand and be counted."
-Rosalie Duarte
"I believe Hillary has the most experience all the candidates to sit in the Whitehouse and work for us. Not some big oil conglomerate that sucks the dollar out of our babies mouths. I respect Hillary as a candidate not just a woman.
I believe she will work her hardest to turn this country around where it belongs. Go Hillary!!!"
-Cathy
"Hi; I am caucusing Because WE all Need Hillary and I never try it so i will HELP Hillary WIN."

Answering your questions
Question from the comment section: “I have been reading that Obama is leading with women in Iowa. I thought Hillary was way ahead with women. The polls are beginning to confuse me. What is the real answer?” -Anonymous
Great question! With polls coming out almost daily, often with different results, it gets difficult to understand what it all means. The polls coming out of Iowa show that it continues to be a close three-way race (a statistical dead heat), even among women. While Hillary is leading in national polls, especially among women, the results in Iowa have always been a lot closer. Most polls are based on ‘Likely Voters’, which in Iowa means people who have caucused before, but other polls show that among women who have never caucused before or are not sure that they will caucus, Hillary has a big lead… which is why it is so important that more women get educated about and involved in, the Caucus process. That’s why we made this site and that’s why it’s important that we all go out and talk with our friends and family and go together to Caucus for Hillary on Jan 3rd. This race is so close; every one of us has a chance to make history!

Real Women Tell us Why They are Caucusing
As a teacher, I'm caucusing for Hillary because she's the candidate who has done her homework. In the early debates, the others were hoping to get by on charm and bluster. Hillary Clinton already had the facts at her fingertips. The others are catching up, but everything they say sounds to me like copied homework. They're mimicking things Hillary has been saying all along.

I have asked all the candidates about their positions, if you will, on current child protection laws, and not only is Hillary Clinton the only person who knows where she stands and what her position is, she is the only candidate with a heart to look at the discrepancies in a system that is not providing adequate protection to children who are abused/neglected and is acting, as a responsible Senator, to address the issues that match my concerns, without waiting to become the President to act!!
And, am I the only American who watched Barrack Obama on the October 2006 Oprah Winfrey show, when he "promised" to announce his bid for the presidency on her show, should he subsequently decide to run? It appears that was a very visible lie on that man's part -- and one we should all notice and take action to assure we are not the victims of additional lies on his part!!!!
